Mrs. Lydia Small TAYLOR, aged 78 years, died yesterday afternoon at 5:25, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Foster C. DISE, 132 Bowman street. She was born in Franklin county PA., Jan 8, 1843, and came to Richland county with her parents at the age of four years, having been a resident of the county ever since. She was united in marriage with Thomas W. TAYLOR, March 18, 1866. Mr. TAYLOR died in January 1919.
The surviving children are, O. W., C. O., T. E., J. R. and G. W. TAYLOR, Mrs. J. D. BENNINGHOFF, and Mrs. F. C. DISE of this city, and Mrs. Maud HOOVER of Lucas; also two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth BROWNELLER, and Mrs. Allie LANTZ and one brother, S. SMALL of this city, 22 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Mrs. TAYLOR united with the Lutheran church at an early age and has always lived a consistent Christian life, and was a devoted mother and home maker. Funeral services will be conducted by her pastor, Dr. A. C. MILLER, at the home, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
